Rebuilding My House
I had the incredible opportunity to work on my own 2.5 storey corner terrace house rebuilding project, and I am thrilled with the results. The process was filled with excitement and anticipation, and I couldn't be happier with the final outcome. Working with a talented team of architects, builders and interior designers, I was able to bring my vision to life using all the Fengshui principles I learned, creating a beautiful and functional space that I am proud to call home. It was truly an unforgettable experience!

House Rebuild Project Start
Before you start your house rebuilding, you need to find an Architect, Professional Engineer and Builder for your project.
Resale Old House
This is the original house I bought to rebuild and the workers are in the mist of demolishing this house.
House Fully Demolished
The house is now fully demolished into a pile of rubbles.
Land Clearing
The rubbles are removed and the land is being prepared for piling.
Piling Process
Piling is the process of driving or boring pile foundations into the ground beneath a building that is under construction to transfer loads from the structure to the ground, helping to support it.
Doing Pile Driving Analyzer (PDA) Test
PDA test is done to evaluate pile load-carrying capacity by applying a dynamic load to the pile head.
Creating the Pile Cap Foundation
The pile cap is a thick concrete mat which are driven into the soft ground to create a stable foundation. The concrete pile cap will then distribute the entire load of the building.
Forming the Ground Beam
Ground beams are typically made from reinforced concrete and are used to provide a supportive base for block and brickwork.
Ground Slab for the Ground Floor
A thick concrete slab supported on foundations or directly on the subsoil, is used to construct the ground floor.
Columns for the 1st Storey
Columns are frequently used to support beams or arches on which the upper parts of the walls or ceilings rest.
Building the Household Shelter
Under the Civil Defence Shelter Act, every new residential house or building must be provided with household shelters.

Construction of the Attic Level
Do you know whether your house is a 2-storey or 3-storey Envelope Control landed housing? A 2-storey Envelope control only allows you to build up to 12m height, whereas a 3-storey Envelope control will allow you to build to 15.5m height!
Structure of the House almost Completed
In barely 4 months, from the start of the project in June 2022 till Oct 2022, the structure of the house is already almost completed. This builder is working faster than I expected. Good Job!
